We represent over 120 members across Canada in the field of telecommunications — fighting for fair wages, strong benefits, and safe working conditions.
Members of Local 2000A have achieved a four-year agreement with Zayo, a telecommunications employer based in Boulder, Colorado. The pact features wage increases of 5%, 4%, 4%, and 4% across its duration — representing the most substantial raises in approximately five decades.
The agreement also protects the Defined Benefit pension plan and improves benefits for all covered members. It becomes effective January 1st and expires December 31, 2027. Most members work in Montreal, Mississauga, and Calgary.
"Congratulations to the bargaining committee for their unwavering resilience throughout challenging negotiations, securing a historic contract that truly reflects the interests of our members." — Lana Payne, Unifor National President
